Harmakhis, the Crimson Globe
Harmakhis, the sixth planet from Sol, is a wasteland that hides an incredible potential found in its moniker “The Crimson Globe”. Most of Harmahis are cold deserts of scarlet sand and canyons of endless crag, which hides a harsh ecosystem of sparse flora and deadly fauna. The climate on Harmakhis is cool, occasionally venturing into severe conditions that result in snowstorms and large rivers of ice.

The Limera Tempests
Harmakhis’ surface is subjected to periodic events dubbed Limera Tempests. They are snowstorms that trickle down from the polar caps and spread across most of the planet. These storms create incredible winds and “ice spirits” that manifest as tornadoes of frozen wind. These storms coincide with the migration of wildlife that lives in the north, resulting in chance encounters. Settlements on Harmakhis have been fitted to withstand these storms, and its citizens can predict its coming, but no amount of preparation can entirely circumvent the chaos these blizzards bring.
The Harmakhians
There are two types of Harmakians. The smaller Xytawists do not possess a typical humanoid body. They stand about two feet tall on dozens of tentacles, with flat heads for bodies and beaks for mouths. Then, there are the larger Myrowists, who possess humanoid features but remain similar to their counterparts. They have long, winged limbs with tentacles for fingers and stand an average of six feet tall. They have large, elliptical eyes and have lips instead of beaks.
Civility in the Scarlet Waste
While confrontational towards Earth and the Republic in the past, Harmakhis now aids its interstellar neighbors. The planet acts as a trade center between the Inner and Outer Spheres, organizing transportation and communication networks between worlds. Portions of Harmakhis are also dedicated to military training and weapons manufacturing facilities, boasting one of the largest robotics plants in the entire system.
